Privacy Statement

Nexy is a messenger with an assistant woven in. That assistant only works because it processes what you say and share, so we owe you an honest, readable explanation of what we collect, why, and what your rights are. This statement covers the Nexy web app, the mobile apps and connected channels.

Who we are

Nexy is a product of Adsfair B.V., a Dutch company registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 60126035, VAT NL853775485B01. Adsfair B.V. is the data controller for the processing described in this statement. For every question about your data, contact us at henkjan@nexy.works.

What we collect

• Account data: your phone number, name, e-mail address and avatar. Your phone number is your identity on Nexy.
• Content: messages, photos, files, voice memos, call and meeting recordings, and the transcripts, summaries and tasks Nexy derives from them.
• Connections: if you link WhatsApp or Telegram, the messages you route through Nexy and the metadata needed to keep that link working.
• Usage and device data: push notification tokens, log data and basic analytics about how the apps are used.
• Assistant usage: how much of your plan's allowance you use, measured as the amount of AI work done for you (such as token counts per day), so we can apply your plan and top-ups.
• Payment data: on the website handled by Stripe; in the apps by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat processing the purchase receipts and subscription status for us. We never see or store your card number. We do keep your plan, its billing period and the top-ups you bought.
• Domain registrations: if you register a domain through Nexy, the contact details required by the registrar and registry.

How we use it

• To run the service: delivering messages and calls, syncing across your devices, sending push notifications.
• AI features: transcribing audio, writing recaps, extracting tasks and answering your questions. This processing happens with AI model providers acting as our processors under data-processing terms. We do not use your conversations to train public AI models.
• Safety: automated screening of content in public spaces (such as city pulses) to keep them free of scams, harassment and illegal content.
• Improving Nexy: analytics services (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar) help us understand how the product is used. You can refuse these through the cookie banner and your browser settings.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in the European Union (AWS, Frankfurt region), encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the small group of people who need it to operate the service.

International transfers

Some of our processors are US companies (Stripe, RevenueCat, Google, Meta, Apple and several AI providers). Where your data leaves the European Union, it travels under recognized safeguards: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Wherever it goes, the commitments in this statement travel with it.

Who we share with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the processors that make the service work: AWS (hosting), Stripe, Apple and Google (payments), RevenueCat (in-app purchase processing), Cloudflare (calls and DNS), our AI model providers (transcription, summaries and assistant answers), Apple and Google (push notifications), the domain registrar OpenProvider (only when you register a domain), and the analytics services listed above.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content, it is removed from our production systems; when you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, with backups expiring after at most 90 days. Data we must keep longer for legal reasons (such as invoices) is retained only as long as the law requires.

Your rights, wherever you live

We hold ourselves to the GDPR, the strictest widely used privacy standard, for every user worldwide. Whether your rights come from the GDPR, the UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, Brazil's LGPD or another law: you can always ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to restrict or object to its processing. Mail henkjan@nexy.works and we will respond within 30 days.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, in the CCPA sense or any other. If you believe we are mishandling your data, you can complain to your local supervisory authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar) only to understand and improve how Nexy is used. You can manage these through the cookie banner and your browser settings.

Children

Nexy is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

When this statement changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
